Hello and welcome to AtoZec, a small operation focused on wildlife surveys in Arizona and the Southwest, as well as numerous biological and NEPA services.
My goal is to move the environmental permitting process forward in an accurate, timely, and legally defensible manner. As a small business I can provide my knowledge and skills in a cost effective and efficient manner.
I work hard to do the job right and help move your project along in accordance with environmental laws stewardship. It is important that as we expand as a species and develop our infrastructure, we do so in a responsible fashion. I enjoy doing my small part and helping clients ensure this approach is followed on their projects. My favorite perk, though, is the many relationships that form and grow through performing this work. I value that, and hope to continue the existing relationships while forming new ones.
I appreciate you stopping by the website. If any questions come up as you click around, feel free to contact me. Thanks, and have a nice day/night when you leave here. -Eric
I've worked in environmental consulting as a Biologist and Environmental Planner for 10 years. I started out as an intern for a flood control district while studying for a Master's degree. From there I spent the majority of my career (at this point in time) at a large consulting firm honing my skills. Now, for the past year, I've been providing my services through AtoZec.
My project experience has spanned a variety of habitats west of the Mississippi; the deserts of the Southwest being my primary sandbox. As a Biologist I performed wildlife and plant surveys at all stages of construction; preconstruction surveys clearing land, biological monitoring during projects, and post construction surveys to monitor for impacts. Section 7 Consultations and biological assessments kept the typing hands busy in the office when not in the field.
Environmental Planner duties were a strong focus in my past experience. They saw me managing and balancing numerous projects simultaneously and guiding clients through the NEPA process, from the cost estimate to the final authroizing signature on the clearance.
I worked with numerous clients, both public and private, over the years in a variety of industries...transportation, military, renewable energy, oil, telecom, and more. The great variety brought me keen insight to the permtting process and how to best compliment each industry.
